About Watches

Sargisons

Introducing a quality watch that is exclusively Tasmanian.  At Sargisons, we have developed a range of limited edition watches ranging from dress models to multi-function sports watches. Our watches use quality Japanese movements with proven reliability and the cases are solid stainless steel and water resistant to 30 or 50 metres.

Gavin at Sargisons recognises that details such as the finish on the hands and the strength of the buckle are critical to creating a genuine quality product. Our watches have dials with raised applied hour markers and they are signed on the dial and the back with the Sargisons logo. The owner can take comfort that the service of their watch is carried out locally. These watches come with a three year guarantee and the battery will be replaced free of charge for life.

Skagen

Skagen watches feature relaxed, refined, functional styles that combine the clean, minimalist lines of modern Danish design with quality and good value. Founded in 1989, the Skagen brand celebrates Denmark and the seaside village of Skagen. Skagen's signature mesh bands are a nod to contemporary and industrial design.

The steel mesh is a softer expression of metal which ties back to the Danish approach to design having a distinct human factor. It is versatile, easily adjustable and lighter and thinner than other normal metal straps. The most current Skagen designs arrive at the Sargison store regularly.

Seiko

Seiko's motto is "Always one step ahead of the rest" and it is true that Seiko has been a leader in the creation of mechanical, quartz battery, kinetic and most recently solar watches. "Seiko has launched many epoch-making products in the world. Seiko's cutting-edge innovation had made possible a continuous stream of world's first watches."

Sargisons carries watches from Seiko's Premier, Sportura, Prospex and Conceptual collections and carries watches in all four movement types, including divers watches and solar watches.
